The dreamy debut album from the trio of GODSPEED YOU BLACK EMPEROR s EFRIM, THIERRY and SOPHIE. An eight-part collage of two plaintive, reverb-drenched ensemble pieces composed on piano, and then arranged with contrabass and violin, and interspersed with tapes, drones, loops and an occasional vocal. Dedicated to Efrim s dog Wanda, who is dying of cancer. Packaged in vellum-finish cardstock jackets foil-stamped with red metallic ink.
